The specifier for hexadecimal floats is missing:

I suppose the parsing of this format isnt working either (only tested this with
gcc 4.7, but there doesnt seem to be any changes).

stringstream instream("0x1.0624dd2f1a9fcp-10");
double val;
instream >> val; // should be  0.001
