Reproduced with m68k-elf and m68k-linux toolchains built from binutils-2.23.2
and gcc-4.9-20140119, 4.8.2, and 4.7.3.  Removing "-m68000" causes the ".l"
suffix to disappear and gas to accept the generated code.
