Unrelated to dummy arguments. Reduced test case:


  implicit none

  type branch_plot_results_ppv_type
     character, allocatable :: label
  end type

  type(branch_plot_results_ppv_type), allocatable :: appv(:)

  allocate(appv(2))

end
