If you mean how did OpenEmbedded configure the compiler that's being used for
the bootstrap, that's an uglier question that I can't really answer since it's
got various patches and special stuff involved.  The only reason I'm
bootstrapping the released 4.9.1 at all is to determine whether a C++11 issue
is due to OE patches; I didn't expect to run into this particular problem,
which appears to be a fragility in the bootstrap when using the newly built
compiler with the system headers from the originally build compiler.
