Oh, and of course, compilation yields nothing more than this:

$ g++ -std=c++11 gcc_crash.cc 
g++: internal compiler error: Segmentation fault (program cc1plus)

I also filed a downstream bug on gentoo,
https://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=479444 but the gentoo guys in the help
channel advised me to file this one upstream.
