Bah, it’s not my day :/

Now it appears the error was on our side – quoting commit r45392 on blender svn
(ten minutes ago):

"fix for building on linux with gcc4.7, an error was caused by undefining
__cplusplus, so as to work with mingw4.4"

So this report can be closed, I think. Sorry for the noise.
