I posted a different patch to avoid indirect reference on
64bit host and avoid overflow in

static int lto_splay_compare_ids (splay_tree_key a, splay_tree_key b)
{
   unsigned HOST_WIDE_INT *ai = (unsigned HOST_WIDE_INT *)a;
   unsigned HOST_WIDE_INT *bi = (unsigned HOST_WIDE_INT *)b;

   return *ai - *bi;
}
