similar situation on x86-64-darwin10 looks OK, but will do a regstrap there too
...

btw, I bumped up the argv allocation (made it 15 + decoded_options_count*2 +
argc) although that's a bit crude (and maybe unnecessary, depending on the max
number of extra args we might get).
