If the patch in comment #10 regstrap on *-linux-*, I think it could be
committed, then monitor regress on
http://gcc.gnu.org/ml/gcc-testresults/2011-10/ and
http://gcc.gnu.org/ml/gcc-regression/2011-10/ .
