Göran, you seem to care about these things. As you see, the main GCC devs, do
not. So if you really want to get this fixed, you have to submit patches. 

This particular kind of issue is so trivial that you don't need a copyright
assignment. Just send a patch to gcc-patches@. I am pretty sure that if you put
jsm28@gcc.gnu.org in the CC and ask him to commit it for you, he will. If he
doesn't, you write directly to me and I will commit it in your name.

Send a patch for each .opt file were you find the problem. 

If you know awk, maybe you could propose a patch to the genopt awk scripts to
detect this issue automatically and fix it.
