The option is

F
Driver C ObjC C++ ObjC++ Joined Separate MissingArgError(missing path after
%qs)
-F <dir>        Add <dir> to the end of the main framework include path

thus allows both Joined and Separate form.  I think the Separate form is
then how it is passed on.

Confirmed.  Works in 4.3.
