It's not about being smart enough, most gcc devs have plenty of things to work
on so if you want to convince someone yours is worth implementing you should
spend a few minutes describing the feature properly (who will benefit? what is
the benefit? give a small example program and explain how it would behave with
the feaature etc.)

If the person requesting a new feature doesn't care enough to spend time
describing it clearly why should someone else spend far more time thinking
about it and implementing it?

I'm just trying to give you advice to improve the chance of someone
implementing this - feel free to ignore it, but don't be surprised if the
request gets ignored too.
