Setup:  OS X 10.6.8, xcode 3.2.6, new installation of MacTeX/TexLive 2011.  I
originally saw this a few months ago using the previous mactex/texlive 2010 but
wanted to wait to report it until I could try it with the new annual release of
tex.

The gcc build used the full 4.6.1 release with gmp, mpc, and mpfr added into
the tree (gmp 5.0.2, mpc 0.9, mpfr 3.0.1). Configure options were
--enable-languages=c,c++,fortran --enable-checking=release.  The actual gcc
bootstrap completed successfully, the problem was with "make doc" right after
that.
