static inline uint32_t
Hashcode( const char* s, uint32_t len, bool case_insensitive)
{
        // prepare to run through string in 4-byte chunks
        const uint32_t* wordp = (const uint32_t*)s;

bug: wordp can be incorrectly aligned.
