[Bug debug/44104] [4.6 Regression] New test failures

I'm fairly sure I have regtested the patch with lto and these failures didn't
appear, so I guess only some concurrent lto/cgraph changes yesterday made this
trigger.  The fix is to add mod_type_die && check, will commit momentarily.
