Updated test, let's move the initialization before call scheduling issue into a
separate enhancement request.  Your reg elimination patch is not needed, you
probably haven't updated your tree for a few days.  The reason for the
varb/varc failures on i686 seems to be a var-tracking bug (the DEBUG_INSNS in
*.compgotos are still ok, debugging it now).
