Speaking as one of the gfortran hackers, we would rather get
a duplicate bug report than no report at all.  In particular,
with a small self-contained test case, it is sgtraight forward
to test multiple versions of gfortran.  In fact, I've found that
this is a regression from 4.3.x and the patch in 4.5.0 is fairly
simple.  I'll see if I can backport it this weekend.
