[Bug testsuite/40359] [4.5 Regression] Revision 148211 caused a lot of failures in the vect test suite.

With the patch in comment #3 the failures are gone:

make -k check-gcc RUNTESTFLAGS="vect.exp=*.c --target_board=unix'{,-m64}'"
