I don't specify either of these options (or any others for that matter).  The
ICE is triggered with

  gfortran hello.f

I'm not sure why the verbose invocation (gfortran -v -save-temps) claims I
supply these: -lgfortranbegin -lgfortran -lm -shared-libgcc
