[Bug bootstrap/38992] [LTO] Bootstrap failed on RHEL5/ia32 and RHEL5/ia64

I bootstrapped it on RHEL5/ia32, RHEL5/ia64 and Fedora 10/x86-64.
There are many failures in testsuite. I don't believe they are
caused by my patch.  Fixed.
