It may not be a problem since it is used to get the default alignment,
which is encoded in the class template:

  template<std::size_t _Len>
    struct __aligned_storage_msa
    {
      union __type
      {
        unsigned char __data[_Len];
        struct __attribute__((__aligned__)) { } __align;
      };
    };
...
  template<std::size_t _Len, std::size_t _Align =
           __alignof__(typename __aligned_storage_msa<_Len>::__type)>
    struct aligned_storage
    {
      union type
      {
        unsigned char __data[_Len];
        struct __attribute__((__aligned__((_Align)))) { } __align;
      };
    };
