Same happens if I use int instead of a pointer:
/* testcase */
/* gcc -O2 -Wall -c foo.c */
int get(void);
int use(int);
void foo(int bar)
{
int foobar;
if(!bar)
foobar = get();
if(use(bar))
return;
if(!bar)
use(foobar);
}
