No.  "-O2 -fno-strict-overflow" did not work.
I also tried with -O1 and it did not work.
With -O0, it worked.  

If I recompile idecode.c with -O2 and relink psim, then the failure returns. 
So the problem is with the generation of that single file. What can I
do to help more?
