        PR bootstrap/35752
        * Makefile.in (objdir): Set it here.
        * configure.ac: Not here.  Find dynamic linker characteristics.
        * exec-tool.in: Use them.
        * aclocal.m4: Regenerate.
        * configure: Regenerate.
