[Bug c++/33357] New: collect2: ld terminated with signal 11 [Segmentation fault]

I don't know how to fill in much of this form but I hope all will be clear from
the following transcript.
I'm hoping for advice on what to do (upgrade?) to fix the problem or failing
that what to do to help diagnose it.
