[Bug c++/33837] New: [4.1/4.2/4.3 regresssion] ICE with invalid use of decltype

The following invalid code snippet triggers an ICE on mainline:

void foo()
{
  __decltype A::foo();
}
===============================

bug.cc: In function 'void foo()':
bug.cc:3: error: 'A' was not declared in this scope
bug.cc:3: internal compiler error: tree check: expected class 'type', have
'exceptional' (error_mark) in build_reference_type_for_mode, at tree.c:5463

The problem appeared between 2007-07-16 and 2007-08-15, presumably with
the introduction of decltype:
