[Bug c/34047] New: ice for legal code

I just tried to compile the Suse Linux package spandsp-0.0.3-43
with the GNU C compiler version 4.3 snapshot 20071102

The compiler said

Source code attached. Flags -O2 -ftree-vectorize -w  -std=gnu99 required.
