In the source file i'm going to attach, with compiler rev 124583, the generated
assembly code includes a sequence:
jg .L2
jge .L6
.L2:
...
This would be more efficient as a "je .L6", and with the alternate (simpler)
implementation of data_eq, that's how it compiles.
