Well there are two things, first you are using a reserved name in C99.  The C
standard dicttakes most of what GCC implements.


exp2 is not in your namespace, really, it is in the standard C99 namespace. 
Try adding -ansi or -std=c89 if you want only the reserved names in C89 to be
builtins.
