Trying to compile a new kernel under Xubuntu. Had three failures so
far, the first being the generic prepackaged Xubuntu package sources,
the second after a full system update, the third being the generic
non-distro unpatched source tree for 2.6.18.6. Only on this third try
did I get a GCC bug error; the previous two were source code errors.
Attached is the preprocessed source for this third error that did
generate a GCC bug report request. I will be happy to try other things
as indicated by anyone who knows what I should be trying next! I tried
to send this via the GCC web bug report system, but I could not find any
way to attach this file, which the docs said is essential.
