Testing on i486-linux-gnu, the results are:

3.3: fail
3.4: OK
4.0: OK
4.1: OK
4.2 snapshot: OK

So 4.0, 4.1 and 4.2 snapshot are OK on i486-linux-gnu but not on
powerpc-linux-gnu.
