Well, it shouldn't have mattered, but try re-adding the CFLAGS line that I
think I accidentally deleted just after XPCFLAGS:

CFLAGS="$CFLAGS -pthread"

which is also just plain wrong, but perhaps this too should be moved inside the
case block.
