No, I did not.  Since your update, I've looked for some documentation and can
not find any.  If you can point me to some, then I will be happy to investigate
futher.

I assume that LIBCXXFLAGS or LIBCFLAGS may be able to do what the changes to
t-aix52 accomplished.  But the changes to pcc64-fp.c would still be needed.
