Actually, I see that I first starting hacking the hppa64 implementation
back in July 2002.  I also see Albert Chin and I discussed a somewhat
set of changes in early in 2003.  So, I guess that's why I developed the
impression.  Thanks for looking it over.

Regarding the hardcoding problem, the HP-UX 11 ld option '+nodefaultrpath'
looks like it might be useful.  It seems to be used for ia64 but not
hppa*64*, or hppa in general on hpux11.
