I get the following error:
>g++ bug.cc
bug.cc: In member function Âbool MyClass<T>::SomeMethod()Â:
bug.cc:17: error: Ân was not declared in this scope
with this simple code:
#include <stdio.h>
template<class T>
class BaseClass {
protected:
int n;
};
template<class T>
class MyClass : public BaseClass<T> {
public:
bool SomeMethod();
};
template<class T>
bool MyClass<T>::SomeMethod() {
n = 0; // This line causes a compiler error
//this->n = 0; // This line will compile okay
}
int main() {
printf("hello\n");
}
I discovered this bug while trying to build a simple sample that comes with
ARPACK++. This makes the entire package unusable.
