I compiled and installed binutils-2.16 and rebuild gcc-4.0.0 (default
thread file posix). There are no segfaults anymore.

Please, excuse my ignorance in reading
http://gcc.gnu.org/install/specific.html, I overlooked requirement of
binutils ver. >= 2.13.1.

Problem can be closed.
