OK for the documentation, except ... that this is not the one that you 
read when you install gcc from scratch ! Although libstdc++ is now part 
of gcc, there is no link from the files in gcc-xxx/INSTALL to the 
library documentation pages. But you are right, I should have searched 
for this.
