I also see this on powerpc-apple-darwin:
g++ -O -ftree-vectorize -maltivec pr21933.cc

pr21933.cc: In function 'void baz()':
pr21933.cc:23: internal compiler error: tree check: expected ssa_name, have 
var_decl in verify_ssa, at tree-ssa.c:750

Keith is looking into it. (probably a duplicate of PR21884 ?)
