I can't duplicate this problem using either the original mcop testcase
or the reduced testcase.
Are you possibly trying to use the HP assembler? If so, I suggest using
gas. Also, make sure that you have a recent linker patch installed. You
will get segementation faults linking if the linker isn't updated. There
will also be problems with constructors. The HP assembler doesn't have
weak support.
