Actually AJ's orginal analysis of the problem was right (and the same as mine):
"What is the best way to fix this?
Should we add to include/bits/functexcept.h some
__attribute__((noreturn)) ?"

He was talking about adding the noreturn on __throw_bad_alloc, not on _M_get itself.
