gentab aborts with OOM on AIX 5.2

Hi...

I'm trying to compile GCC 4.0.1 on AIX 5.2 (ML01F11).

Gentab aborts with an 'out of memory' error, details see below.

For what reason does genattrtab need more than four gigabytes of memory?
