The bug has been discovered when building powerpc-eabi c++ cross-compiler using
custom multilib flags. However the bug is easily reproduceable with "standard"
powerpc-eabi compiler, the -msdata=default causes the ICE:

osv@falcon$ ~/try-3.4/tools/libexec/gcc/powerpc-eabi/3.4.1/cc1plus
-fpreprocessed allocator.ii -quiet -msdata=default -version -o allocator.s
GNU C++ version 3.4.1 (powerpc-eabi)
        compiled by GNU C version 2.95.4 20011002 (Debian prerelease).
