As best I can tell this was fixed before 3.4.0 was released by:

2004-02-27  Daniel Jacobowitz  <drow@mvista.com>

        * config/arm/arm.c (arm_legitimate_address_p): Don't check the mode
        size for minipool references.

It certainly isn't reproducable on 3.4.2 (prerelease) and 3.5.0
