I agree with Erik, there should only be one generic name for fortran code (as
ther is for c code).  Once this 
frontend is built, the different (draft) standard can be identified with the 
-std=f77,f90,f90 options to adhere to a specific standard.
--enable-languages=f95 is rather misleading in this respect.
