An internal compiler error when compiling the pdftex package. The details are:

Reading specs from /home/bitmap/local/lib/gcc/hppa64-hp-hpux11.11/3.4.3/specs
Configured with: ../gcc-3.4.3/configure --prefix=/home/bitmap/local --enable-
languages=c,c++ --with-gnu-as --with-gnu-ld
Thread model: single
gcc version 3.4.3
