There was a known bootstrap failure on hppa64-hp-hpux11.11 which caused a comparision failure due 
to debuging info to be slightly different see PR 14829.  And it was fixed after 20040425 on the 
20040427, can you try again?  And also can you provide the differences between the asm in say gcc.s.
