[Bug other/15796] New: linefeed characters prevent successful build

Many of the files (c files, header files, machine descriptor files, scripts,
etc.) contain a linefeed character at the end of each line.  The presence of
linefeeds makes the building of GCC impossible on build systems other than Windows.
