I don't know if this is a gcc bug either.  However, I can point out that 
we don't track bug reports mailed to this list, so you are more likely 
to get a useful response if you file a bug report into our bugzilla 
database.  Or maybe send the question to a different list.  This list is 
primarily used for output from the bugzilla database, and emails to this 
list often don't get much response.
