[Bug c/16361] kernel built with gcc 3.4.1 don't read my partition on USB

With 2.6.8-rc1 and gcc-3.4.1 I cannot read the partition table BUT I can mount
my device with mount -t vfat /udev/sdg /mnt/usb
I have lost the abbility to read the partition table, but I can use it, then I
don't really care about the partition table :-)
