the code looks invalid to me. In the member initializer list of the copy 
construct you have:

face_m(model.face)

with:

  int face_m;
  int face() const { return face_m; }

So, it looks like that you actually wanted to say face_m(model.face()) or face_m
(model.face_m). GCC is right.
